Thermal Oxidation Systems
NESTEC's thermal oxidation systems are designed to effectively destroy Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs), ensuring compliance with strict environmental regulations. These systems use high-temperature thermal oxidation to convert harmful pollutants into carbon dioxide and water vapor. NESTEC offers a variety of solutions, including Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers (RTOs), Catalytic Thermal Oxidizers, Recuperative Thermal Oxidizers, and Direct-Fired Thermal Oxidizers, each tailored to specific industry needs. With over 40 years of expertise, NESTEC's systems are engineered for maximum efficiency, minimizing power consumption while ensuring reliable performance.
What is Thermal Oxidation?
Thermal oxidation is a process used to control air pollution by converting harmful pollutants like Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs) into harmless byproducts, primarily carbon dioxide and water vapor. This is achieved by exposing the pollutants to high temperatures—typically above 1400°F—inside an oxidation chamber.
NESTEC's thermal oxidation systems, including Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers (RTOs), Catalytic Oxidizers, and Recuperative Oxidizers, utilize advanced technology to optimize efficiency, minimize energy use, and ensure compliance with environmental standards. The process is widely used in industries with high emissions, ensuring effective and sustainable pollution control.
